Play Any Instruments?

First topic message reminder :
(Wasn't sure where to put this, so I just put it here. Nowhere else for it to go, anyway.)
You guys play any instruments? I play trombone because of bullshit school band. I've been trying to learn guitar on and off, but I really wanna play bass (which reminds me - anyone looking to sell a bass guitar cheap?
) I have a harmonica that I play sometimes, too.

Piano really is fucking awesome. I don't know why there are so many people who think I'm a pussy for wanting to play it...we're getting a piano free from someone who needed to get rid of it (hopefully, anyway). I wanna playing fucking Doin' Time by Sublime. =D

Piano solos are the shit. It doesn't have all the senselessness that guitar solos sometimes have.

That's because guitarists tend to learn by ear and tablature, and pianists learn by music theory (not always the case, but that's the general rule). A pianist will keep themselves within the confines of music theory for the most part, while guitarists tend to do whatever sounds good to their ears. Depending on the style of music...but for the most part, piano solos still sound better in general.

I have a piano. :3 I never use it anymore, we only bought it for when I took piano lessons as a kid. I think I will start using it again.
