Lol, nice. I wish there were better ways to get free music. Music should be free, I don't see why there is a law against it. Well, I do, but still.

(good) Music is difficult to make. It's one of the hardest things you could ever do, up there with giving birth. (good) Artists deserve to be payed for their work. (However, they have more money than me and I usually use Limewire.) By good, I mean if they actually put some heart and soul in what they're doing...unless these bullshit 4 chord songs they won't stop playing on corporate radio...

I've always found that torrenting is a hell of a lot safer than Limewire - it's not all that much harder to do, either. I've been using it over a year now, absolutely no problems with viruses.
For the record, I have plans to buy all the CDs/movies/shows I've downloaded. I really love to have a physical CD in my hand - I just can't afford it right now. Photato, you're totally right; good music is hard to come up with. Writing song lyrics is hard enough - my friend and I spent two days putting a guitar part to a song of mine. Artists who put effort into their music do deserve it...nothing annoys me more than hippie downloaders who believe they're entitled to free music. I do wish it was free legally, though - music is so goddamn awesome.
By the way, how did we manage to turn this from a discussion about iPods to an illegal downloads thread? I can't help but feel like that was my fault. xP

Sure there are...Immersion by Pendulum is pretty good if you like Drum n' Bass. Plastic Beach by Gorillaz was okay. Together by The New Pornographers was decent...Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky by OK Go...
There are some good underground records; you just gotta look into them. Or find a friend who knows their underground material - that's what I did.

I have a 8 gig. I just remove music and replace it with the ones I listen to most when it gets close to full. I would prefer 16 but I didnt want to spend the money.

So do I. But it's not bad I mean, I dont use it for the apps that much, mostly music, so I am never going to have time to listen to like 2000 songs in one day.

It's just a pain in the ass when you're out doing something and a song that you haven't listened to in a while gets stuck in your head...then you pull out your iPod and - oh shit! I didn't sync that one.
