DMV test; give me a fucking permit.
So in the state of New York, you need to be 16 to get your driver's permit. I am 15 right now, but I will be turning 16 in December. I am planning on taking my test ON my birthday because I just want to drive already. Wanna get the fuck out of here and get my ass to Florida. xD Anyways, I know I need my actual license before anything like that can happen, but ayy, baby steps! 
So I am planning on taking some practice tests and reading the book online starting tonight. Any suggestions?---dont even tell me to cheat! ;P Also, last night I couldnt find my iPod so I guess I have something to look for all day before I go all nut-so and do somthing drastic . So, dat's all folks.

Oh the sad irony... I'm planning on getting my license and getting the fuck back to New York
And you can't really cheat.. just drive well. I took drivers ed so I didn't need to take a test for my permit. I still need my license though, which you can get at 16.

All you can really do is study the handbook. Just make sure you know your signs and you'll be fine. There's some study website people keep recommending, but I can't remember the name of it or if it's NC only. I'll look into it for you if you want.
I'm hoping to go for my permit next week...

I want to go on my Birthday. I looked a little for the handbook online because I cant see spending money on a book I could just print out for free. But I am having trouble finding a good site. If you could find it that would be great.

Not everywhere, Sher - the handbooks in my state are $15 for a hard copy, but the digital one is free.
And I found it, Bam, but it was an NC test review. There was another website I found called dmv-driving-tests.com that has a practice test for NY. Worth checking out, at least.
